Biological and biochemical features and prospects of use Allium schoenoprasum L

Annotation. The article examines the features of the biological development of A. schoenoprasum L., and also presents data on the biochemical composition of this type of onion, in particular, on the content of vitamins, trace elements and other substances useful for humans. In the future, a more detailed study of chives may allow us to develop the technology of its yearround production, because it is a wonderful food and medicinal plant that can enrich the diet of the population.
