Summary The article discusses the main ways to manage the biological resources of representative agrocenoses of sunflower. Features of basic components of agrocenoses, such as sunflower, agricultural machinery, soil, are highlighted. The main factors limiting the stable growth and development of plants were identified and an analysis of their impact on crop yield was carried out. The dependencies of the ongoing agrotechnical measures, biological resource potential, sunflower yield, and its quality were revealed.
